This was the first official General Body meeting of the IEEE Student Branch of the 22-23 school year. This meeting establishes our tentative goals for the semester as far as events and projects. This event also initiated the Tshirt design competition.

January 19, 2023
This general body meeting involved the publishing of our constitution for our official IEEE Student Branch. This involved defining of eboard members, memberships, and the selection of the winning TShirt.
General Body Meeting #3
February 2, 2023
This general body meeting allowed us to gather our group. This meeting established our tentative semester schedule as well as prepared our members for the upcoming Valentine's Day raffle.
This general body meeting announce the winners of the Valentine's day fundraiser, a presentation of research by Dr. Belfore, and the reveal of IEEE's collaboration event. The shifts in executive board officers also occurred on this day.
March 2, 2023
Executive Board members from IEEE and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) represented pseudo companies for you to approach and talk with like the career fair. When the "tables" are full, it was encouraged to talk with the other students in the room. Virtual attendees were expected to meet with a pseudo-company in a mock virtual group interview.
March 21, 2023
This event allowed our GB members to gather and develop their resumes. This meeting involved a Bingo game with the members using their own resume. These members would then mark on their own paper when they notice green or red flags in their own CV/resume.
April 6, 2023
This meeting was in preparation for the upcoming IEEE Student Branch Eboard elections. This meeting allowed all members who wished to run for their positions, to have a powerpoint slide published and then give a small speech to explain what would make them good for this role. The Public Liason Officer (PLO) was ratified this meeting. The nominations included the roles of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and PLO.

This was the last general body meeting for the IEEE of the semester where we announced our 23'24 Executive Board and recapped what we did over the past year. There were also member spotlights on those who contributed significant time and dedication to the club.Meet the Executive Board>>

This was our very first IEEE game night where members got together and had some fun playing various board games.

The Hampton Roads Section of IEEE hosted an Senior Capstone Project Presentation Competition. Student groups from Christopher Newport University, Hampton University, Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University were invited to participate in the competition.
